Wayward Winds
Without the wind for wayward wings
I wandered winding westward
wallowing near the wayside
warily wondering,
which way to the wind?

“Wh” is always a puffy exhale. If this narrator can not find a blast of wind, maybe this string of little puffs will speed her on her way!

You must either collect your words ahead of time or do a bunch of rewrites.

Either way there is always a word hunt. I usually do some kind of research on my poems. Sometimes I think my poetry is more intellectual than from the heart although I try.

I prefer the “on the fly” approach to writing. I may be too blonde to plan things out;-)

I was blonde once, now I’m sliver haired that must explain it. Haha!
