Under The Influence
Beneath the surface
I’m buoyant
transcendent.
Moving slowly
don’t know where
I’m going.
Running together
no control
I’m overflowing.
Pellucid me
within my liquid matrix
I’m dissolving.
I’m all fluid
if you want to pour me out
just do it.

The title suggests a different twist. Hope you’re not driving! I kind of assume it’s misleading, otherwise you wouldn’t be under water. Sorry I’m being so literal. If it weren’t for the title I would really groove on “pour me out.” Maybe the influence is sexual. Quite expressive whichever way it goes.

It’s speaking to the different influences and situations we find ourselves in in life. I’m speaking in emotional terms rather than drugs. If you are under someone’s influence they have the power to “pour you out.” Thank you!
