The Calendar
The Calendar doesn’t care
what day it is
it’s got so many to choose from
it can afford to lose one.
The calendar doesn’t count
when days go flying by
or care about your age
it simply turns the page.

Wish there was a speed control button though… some days need to go slower…or just be skipped altogether!

So true – the calendar pays no heed of the date. It turns each page dispassionately, not finding any special meaning in the dates that roll past! Cleverly penned.
