Kaleidoscope Moments
Perpetually fractured shapes
looping through calico consequences
rendering ordered frames of confusion
as they fall into prismatic bits
of psychedelic fodder.

This is my work, a special type of round kaleidoscope/mandala that I made up. Written for Saturdays Image Write. Thanks to all who wrote, there’s still time to join us! Shared on Tuesday with the Imaginary Garden Of Real Toads.
Excellent!! Poem fits the picture perfectly ☺♥

Those calico consequences of our lives fitting nicely into an ordered psychedelic fodder. We might study the effects, some will be unexplainable I’m sure. So fitting, nice write, Bekkie.

BTW, I have a nice handmade Kaleidoscope given to me by a friend. His neighbor makes them. It uses a changeable marble for causing the lights effect. Really nice, it sits on our coffee table.

Thank you, Jim! I love kaleidoscopes, always have. It’s so much fun making them (animating) they are always different. Handmade, I bet it’s beautiful!!

‘ordered confusion’ appropriately describes the impending consequences of the movements. Wonderful lines Bekkie!

“calico consequences”–how that trips so beautifully off the tip of my tongue! And this fits so well with the image.
