leaves fall on the water
snowy egrets roost
autumn at high tide
Written for the prompt “fall” at Haiku Horizons. The photograph is mine taken while cycling on the San Francisco Bay and waterways. Snowy Egrets only roost at certain times of the day and season.

Thank you, Sue! I’m off to go bike riding right now. Was working on a holiday post for here. As you see I’m not writing with the groups now although I’ve been actively writing other places.
Today is Christmas and my roommate promised me a Christmas Day ride so I’m going to enjoy it a lot! I hope your day is full of promise and good times too!
