Saturdays Image Write

We are such busy poets writing for our groups, reading and sharing but I miss the image prompt. Ever since Magpie Tales took a leave (they are still gone) I haven’t found a group that writes for image prompts.

We are very visual creatures our love of images lies with our cognition and ability to pay attention. Images are able to grab our attention easily, we are immediately drawn to them. Bright colors capture our attention because our brains are wired to react to them. Our vision senses are by far our most active of the senses. This makes us see and react to images faster than any other kind of stimuli.

I will post an image prompt weekly on Saturday (starting the 4th) with a Linky and see if I can get a small group to write. Maybe a few people from my current writing groups? Hint…

You will have a week to write for each one and no pressure this is just for fun and relaxation. The image could be fantasy, history, art, or anything. Use any form you like and feel free to use the images on your blog (but no publishing in books.)

I’m excited to be writing for images again, even if I am putting them up. In the future, I plan to ask others post image prompts. Baby steps. Hugs!

So with no further ado, please check out Saturday’s Image Write.

The site can either be got to from the link here or by itself at: https://capriciouspoetsimagewrite.blogspot.com/
