Nothing Personal

Nothing Personal

I amble down
a road less traveled
a path is discerned
almost telepathically
I inch my way along
somewhat cautiously.

Mossy growth glistening
marching through the woods
mounting an invasion
against the trees.

The damp smell of death
permeating my senses
life mirrors nature
nature’s way is survival
nothing personal.

You Smell Like Sex

You Smell Like Sex

I am trembling and breathless
as you step behind me
your strong arms
encircling exploring
my body imploring…

Your warm breath at my ear-
you smell like sex!

As you turn to me our lips meet
we drink deeply of this elixir
falling in lust.

People Watching

I sashay down the busy street
my reasoning is quite concrete
the storefronts offering sales and heat
my happy feet they keep the beat.

The many honking cars compete
and traffic lights keep traffic neat
I stop to gawk and take my seat
I watch the crowd without conceit.

As they walk by I look to greet
in case our eyes should chance to meet
and meeting them is such a treat
as I head home, my day complete.
