It’s My Song
So beautiful and free
I felt just like that once
the world my Wonderland
and I could do no wrong.
Blinded by my youth
forever was my troth
until that mighty fall
into the rabbit hole.
Now that time has passed
my body bent with age
my mind keeps playing tricks,
a lie!
(I tell myself.)

The soul never ages even when the flesh loses innocence. At least that is what I wish to believe.

I think it’s true. The soul doesn’t let a few things like losing innocence bother it.

Of course it’s a lie! The soul is forever young and free. 🙂
