Deep
in deepest forest
defeating the darkest corners
sunlight penetrates
bringing light to the unseen
illuminating my thoughts

My photograph put through art filters and animated.
A tanka embracing one of my favorite things in poetry, brevity. The other is rhyme. Written for dVerse~Poets Pub.
Beautiful. I am always amazed at the way nature can awaken our thoughts or give us a new perspective.

I like all the “d” sounds in the first two lines and one’s thoughts could be in a deep forest needing illumination. Very nice.

I see that you are talented in many ways, and quite knowledgeable. Your trees are fascinating, and your poem complements well.
